I was hoping to find out his place, date of birth & parents names but none was there - except the county of birth as Monroe. All info is listed below. I was wondering if anyone had access to CD for Passenger and Immigration Lists: Germans to America. I found an index for August Wittekind and I am trying to find out the name of the ship my great-great grandfather came over on. They arrived sometime between April and July of 1852. There should be more than just his name on the ship records as my 3rd great grandfather, grandmother and brothers and sisters of August also came over at the same time. I would appreciate any help.
