    3. Pam and Sharon - I've just started on the Millers, and as you would guess, it is slow go. Wideners married Millers in different generations and geography; the Millers probably weren't directly related: 1. Catharine Miller, my great great grandmother, born 1804 in PA, married William Widener, born 1781, PA, probably Berks County. They were living near Getteysburg circa 1828 where their oldest children were baptized. (Nicholas & Rebecca Miller were witnesses for one child; perhaps they were her parents). They moved to Miami County by 1832, where they had more children. Catharine died about 1866 and is buried in Kyle Cemetery. Whether or not other members of her family migrated to Miami County also is not known. 2. Rose Maude Miller, born 1880 in Champaign County, married R. Hayes Widener (grandson of William and Catharine Miller Widener and my grandfather) in 1899. Maude was my grandmother. Her parents were John Lafayette Miller (born 1852) and Isadora Deaton Miller (1858). They are buried at Newson Chapel Cemetery. I speculate that John Lafayette Miller is the son of Isaac and Anna Merritt Miller and the grandson of Augustus Miller and Mary Williamson Miller. As I said, I've just begun...... I would appreciate any input. I'm happy to help in any way. Thanks, Carol Myers
