I have had that happen, too, but not just from people I have found through Ancestry.com. It has nothing to do with them - it is the people we have tried to contact that for whatever reason are not interested in replying. That is no reflection on Ancestry or any other Genealogy website. Of course it is frustrating, especially when it appears that you may have found the connection you are looking for, but in all ways, genealogy is a slow process and can only be put together piece by piece as you collect sources that help you put it together. That has got me angry too with them having wrong info, because you can network and connect the other's info, but may never hear from them.
