Thanks for the website, Ann. I've added it to my favorites so that I can check it out. Here are a couple that I use for my Ohio research: http://www.ohgen.net/ohgenweb/statelinks.htm (great site, lot of varied information and links, very comprehensive.) http://www.pcdl.lib.oh.us/miami/miami.htm (this is the most incredible site, most of you probably already well aware of it!) http://www.kindredtrails.com/databases.html (scroll down for resources outside of the Ancestry umbrella, most are free) http:www.ancestry.com (yes, I bit the bullet and finally just paid them.) I have my issues, but they house more information than anyone and for the price, it's not a bad deal. I have do a lot of research for my British Ancestors anyone interested in UK research sites, I use these frequently: http://freeukgen.rootsweb.com/ http://www.freebmd.org.uk/ http://www.cyndislist.com/ (huge database, but almost too big, I always feel like I spend more time looking on the site trying to find what I want than should be necessary.) http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ (another place to find free BMD's.) http://www.immigrantships.net/ (a nice, free, alternative to ancestry's fee based service, although not as comprehensive in my opinion.)
