    3. Maxine If I get a chance I will look for a picture. They may have some at troy library. As I said she know how to use her cane if she walked down the aisle beside your desk and didn't like your writing or your work she came down across your desk with one of those canes and it did get your attention. I can add that to her link in my Gen. It was her as she retired as olden and lived with a sister in Columbia until she died in 1962 there abouts. Bur. in Van Wert Co. Cem. with family. Her father , Wiliam Harrison Rooks , was a brother to Louisa Rooks Boring mar to William Boring and lived in Mercer Co.. Oh. Maybe someone will have a school Picture with her in it. She must have been in her early 70's in 1948. Didn't know much about her I welcome any and all info.     3. Thanks much Jim; I will watch for a reply. Maybe you can check more about the Jacob Rooks as he also was a teacher in another Miami Co. School for a while then he went to Columbia City area and also when d. bur. in Van Wert Co. Maybe somene else also went to school with either of them as a teacher.
