I've been with ancestry since the beginning and agree with you. There wasn't near as much on it then and some of it was hard to use, just indexes, not records and there was only one basic search, not all the search options you have now. There was nothing compared to what they offer today and they have barely raised their prices since then so you are getting way more than you did in the beginning and more than you are going to get on any other website.
