    3. Jeanne - Hi - noted that you have John and Susanna Cox in your history. I am also descended from them - their son Joshua being my ancestor - and I have a lot on their families. However, this branch ended up in Iowa. I received an e-mail some years ago from a Charles Pugh and I ran it off, but have not pursued it any further. I went on today and he has pics of his family - I sent him my branch, but he did not add it to his - at least on the internet. I started out with Thomas 1640 m. to Christian Matthews, second wife, Ann Hind John m. to Rachel Carr William m. to Katherine Kinkey John m. to Mary Scarlett John m. Catherine Cox John m. Susannah Craven Joshua m. to Maryette Wood Stephen Isaac Cox m. to Nancy Frances Kite Lee Andrew Cox m. Nellie Bridge Harold Gordon Cox m. Esther Anderson Norma Ann Cox m. Curtis Mielke I heard from a Susan Muglich after I found the Pugh site, and she has another branch - and before the above named Thomas, was Thomas - but not date. Have you looked into the Family Tree Maker.com susan Muglich or Charles Pugh? Might want to get it a look Isn't genealogy interesting? I think if we go back far enough, we're ALL related. 3. Hi Norma, I am so glad you contacted me. This connection has been problematic for me. I am making my connection based on John Cox's will in Miami County. It names his wife and children. It also mentions land in Darke County and over in Indiana. He died in 1841. His children are Joseph,Henry,John,Jesse,George,William,Nancy,Sally,Elizabeth and Catherine. My Cxes are in Van Buren Twp. in Darke County Ohio. There, I have matched the record of the will to census records in Darke County andAtlas andLand Records. The daughter Nancy married Daniel Curtner also found in Van Buren Twp. Darke County. Iam very interested in any information on these Coxes. There is no Joshua named in this will. Joseph appears to be deceased and his children are inheriting his share. How do you tie your Joshua to this particular John and Susannah Cox. I am seeing them coming from Virginia to Ohio.Cox is such a comman name. I see more than one John and Susannah Cox coming from VA. Do you have any thing that actually states that this is Susannah Craven; a history or family Bible, etc.? I would really like to tie that down. I will check out these sites. I will be glad to work with anyone on this Cox Family from union Township, miami county. Thankyou, Jeanne Wright Hime Norma Mielke <namielke@hickorytech.net> wrote: Jeanne - Hi - noted that you have John and Susanna Cox in your history.
