My ggg grandfather, Robert Smith, came to Miami County, Springcreek Township around 1840. His wife was Maria Drake and the children were Anna Drake Smith, John, James Harrison Smith, and Mary Elizabeth. Anna married John O'Ferrall Wiley in 1854 and lived in Piqua almost all of her 92 years. John and James moved to Indiana in 1866. Mary married Joseph Clarkson in 1865 and moved to Dayton. Maria died about 1840. Robert moved to Shelby County in 1841 and died there.
