I have acquired some old photos that I am trying to date. All I really have to go on is some studio names which are definitely no longer in existence as these photos appear to be from the late 1800s to early 1900s. I was wondering if anyone would know what direction I could go to get more info about the photos or at the very least the studios that made the photos. Some of the photos include: T. D. Snook ("opposite post office", Akron, Ohio) - which post office? Durant (108 S. Howard St., Akron, Ohio) Can anyone help? Of course, I am chuckling to myself as I read the disclaimer on the backs of some of these photos "Duplicates available at any time".... LOL! DON'T I WISH!
