Winter and his wife Lydia (believe surname to be Collins) and children were living in Median County in 1850. The Williams County, Ohio history and other records indicate that he was a circuit preacher in Williams County during the 1840s. I don't know the reason he took his family to Medina County in 1850, or if he may have been a preacher in Medina County, also. Does anyone know anything of Winter or Collins in this time period?
