Crellin "Curly" COLLISTER FORMER RESIDENT OF MEDINA DIES TUESDAY Medina 6/14/1940 Mrs. Imogene H. Collister, 62, of Lakewood, daughter of the late Albert H. Thomas of Medina and sister of Mrs. Mettie Wacker of Medina, passed away Tuesday afternoon at Lakewood hospital in Lakewood, after a short illness. Her husband was the late C. Crellin Collister, former general superintendent of the Cleveland Railway company. Mrs. Collister was born in Brookly village but spent her early days in Medina. She moved to Cleveland after her marriage. Her death followed by less than two weeks, the death of her husband's mother, Mrs. Eleanor G. Collister, who was also the mother of the late Lawrence G. Collister, former Cuyahoga county treasurer and state senator. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Fred B. Piper, Jr; her sister, Mrs. Wacker, and her granddaughter, Darlene Piper. Funeral services will be held from 12629 Detroit Avenue in Lakewood Friday afternoon. Cleveland Public Library Necrology Name: Collister, Imogene H.
