Silas ASHDOWN and Charlotte PEARSON ASHDOWN immigrated to Medina from Kent England in 1912. Charlotte's sister Kate THWAITES is my great grandmother. I am especially interested in Kate's son William PEARSON, (born about 1913-1914), who Silas and Charlotte took in and raised as their own. I believe he went by the name William ASHDOWN. William was in the US Army and was injured at Pearl Harbor dying a few days later. He is buried in Hawaii. I understand there is still ASHDOWN family members in Medina. Would love to hear from them.
