Among them were Dr. Joseph Sippy and his wife, the former Martha Cogswell or Coggswell; Uriel (or Uriah) Bragg and his wife, first name unknown but believed to be a sister of Mrs. Sippy's, and their brother, Nathaniel Cogswell, listed as an unmarried man. Does anyone know Mrs. Bragg's first name and the names of her children? Does anyone know if Nathaniel really died in the California Gold Rush? Records in Indiana indicate he married twice, was widowed once and divorced in 1852. As Akron's historian, I am seeking to update early stories. Any information will be appreciated.
