Damon He was born in Ontario County, New York 2-22-1817 His Father Benjamin Damon being a native of Connecticut and among the early settlers of Ontario County, New York. He accompanied his parents to Medina, County, Ohio in 1833, He was united in marriage, 10-15-1840 to Miss Frances ( Fannie ) A. Dake a Doughter of John Dake, They are the parents of eight children - Eunice A., W. Adelia, John H., Aureluis O., Sarah E., Rosanna A., Charles B., and Francina M. ( Eunice A. married a man named Stradley first name not known) The Daman Family moved to Iowa 1852 Eunice married in Iowa to A man named Stradley they had one son she then Married next to Wm.
