At some point Charleen met Samuel Thompson Highfill and married in Yakima, Washington in 1917. Sam came from Frank Highfill and Anna (St. Clair.) Unknown if Charlenn had other siblings. Charleen and Sam had two children in WA. Thompson Newton Highfill and Arlyne. Sam was killed in a car v. train accident in Glendale CA, where they had moved. Highfill family history was lost.
