Got to take a great vacation this summer looking for ancestors in New York and Connecticut. Finally have my Jabez HITCHCOCK pinned down to Sharon, Litchfield County, Connecticut in 1810. It is likely he was born in Derby, Connecticut, but I'm still trying to prove that. By 1820 he and his family removed to Canfield, Trumball/Mahoning Co. OH, and in 1840 he, his wife and four sons came to Medina County. There are also seven older daughters who may have married men who came to Medina. Looking for anyone else with relatives from the area of Sharon, Litchfield County. Or, anyone who might have a HITCHCOCK female as an ancestor. Thanks, Bobbi in MI
