    1. Re: [OHMEDINA-L] a great resource for Pioneer Women of OHIO
    2. There is also a hard-cover index book which contains 226 pages of 5 colums on each page of names. It is called "Index - Women in the Western Reserve Before 1840" and was printed in 1976 by the Genealogical Committee of the Western Reserve Historical Society. I got my book from the WRHS a few years back (but not more than 7 years ago), so I don't know if they still have any copies for sale. The price at that time was $15. This is probably the same information as the microfiche at the Family History Center, but in book form. Perhaps your library may have the book if it was distributed widely. The microfilms the book indexes are also at the Western Reserve Historical Society Library, University Circle, in Cleveland, OH. -- Elissa On Mon, 9 Apr 2001 19:30:22 +0100 "Joan T.
