I have a Mary Susanna Bechtel born in the 1720s in Franckenthal, Pfalz, Germany who married Rev. John Levering 19 May 1748 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Her sister Maria Agneta Bechtel married Cornelius Weygandt 5 July 1739 in Germantown, PA. It was their grandson Rev. George Henry Weygandt that came to Chippewa Twp., Wayne County, Ohio on the border with Medina County in 1827. The Bechtels were Moravian but the Rev. G.H. Weygandt was Lutheran.
