I am trying to find some information for someone in Medina County. I cannot find the family there, but found several of the names she needs in the Ohio Marriage Records in Tuscarawas County. There is no such county in my set of CDs of Ohio County Histories. Can anyone tell me what it may have been a part of in the first of the 1800s??? Tuscarawas County was formed in 1808 from Muskingum County, according to the HandyBook for Genealogists. Try they usgenweb site for that county for a list of potential resources. You may have to Interlibrary loan the histories or rent them on film. I know I have used some from that county in my research so they exist.
