Looking for information about the parents of Dr. George W. Bell of Medina County. Listed in Hinckley, Medina Co, Ohio Census as follows: 1850 born Vt, age 56, Physician 1860 born Vt, age 60, Physician 1870 born Vt, age 82, At home This would make him born sometime between 1788 and 1800. He died sometime in the summer of 1875 in Medina Co. His probate papers mention eight heirs James Bell, George T. Bell, and Louisa Smith who are supposed to reside in the State of Michigan, and Polly Wetmore, Jerusha A. Bell, Nancy J. Dunsha, Electa Van Valkenburgh and Charles Bell who reside in the sate of Ohio. Other children not listed are Sarah J, Juliett R. and Samuel. Electa was born in Canada and several of the others were born in New York. Came to Ohio between 1832 and 1837 and appears to have lived first in Boston, Summit County. Wives were Sarah ? and Mary ?.
