His name was William Wilson, also spelled Willson. His birth date was November 14, 1819. He was the son of David Wilson (Willson) and Abigail Porter Wilson. He was born in Guilford. I find David listed in the 1820 and subsequent censuses, but I find very little mention of his son William. Can anyone supply any more information? Thank you.

The only information that I have of my birth father before he was adopted is that his last name was brown and I was also told that he had family that was either a governor, or in the house of rep. for ohio. I started looking up information and this is the only thing that I can find...Brown, John William (1913-1993) Born in Athens, Athens County, Ohio, December 28, 1913. Mayor of Medina, Ohio, 1950-53; Lieutenant Governor of Ohio, 1953-57, 1963-75; Governor of Ohio, 1957; member of Ohio state house of representatives, 1959-60. Methodist. Member, American Legion; Forty and Eight; Veterans of Foreign Wars; Freemasons; Shriners. Died in Medina, Medina County, Ohio, October 29, 1993. Interment at Spring Grove Cemetery, Medina, Ohio. Most of this would fit the time that my father was born, now I was wondering if there was anyone that knew of any decendants of John W. Brown that may be related to me. Hi, Is anyone doing research on the Locker Family? John Locker was born 15-Oct-1802 in Maryland and died 18-Jun-1871. He and his wife, Susanna Dague are both buried in the Hoover Cemetery near Rittman. Believe they lived in Guilford Twp. in Medina County. I am searching for the children of John and Susanna. Children listed on 1910: ( -unk-died before 1900); William C -adpt'd son age17; Harrold W age13; Ernest O age 8. When Zilpha was married to John ALBRO, they lived in Medina, Medina co., Ohio. Zilpha's father and mother --William and Sarah HOWARD-- lived in 1860 Medina (near) Zilpha. Zilpha and John's son, John S. Albro, is my grgrfather; he was known by my older sisters and brother, but died when I was infant. I would like to know more about Zilpha's death and more about her Waite children. I have very good photocopy of Frank and Florence as young adults. This is all I know on the Waites of Hinckley, Medina co. Can you or others help me with this family? Frances

Jacob was born abt. 1773 and Elizabeth about 1780, both in Germany. Their daughter, Anna Maria was born in Bavaria about 1806. They came to the U.S. probably in the early 1830s, and settled in Medina Co., OH. Anna Maria married Joseph Burkhardt in Liverpool Twp. in 1838. Jacob and Elizabeth were in Cuyahoga Co. by 1850, when they appear on the census in East Cleveland. Any information appreciated.

This DeEtte was named more than likely after my Great Grandmother that had DeEtte as a middle name. They would have been first cousins. The name can not be found in the family prior to this and I could not find any neighbors that had the name so who knows? I have heard that the name was Irish but this family was not Irish.
