In the census, Mary indicates that she gave birth to 11 children however, I can only find information on 10 Perhaps one was born earlier in England Shirley Hulett San Diego California MARY REGISTER was born February 1818 in England, and died 1902. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LAURA HARPER. SHE LIVED IN COLUMBUS,OHIO IN 1975 AND AT THAT TIME WORKED FOR A DOCTOR. WE THINK SHE WAS BORN 1943-1944??

Was there an Alms House/Poor Farm or Nursing Home at Lafayette Twp in 1870s? According to the daily journal kept by my 2nd grgrandfather, Lemuel Wm Kelley, he "went to Lafayette" one day in 1876. Lemuel lived at Brunswick Twp - not exactly nearby Lafayette. 1880 census shows there is someone in Lafayette whose occupation is "Superintendent. I'm searching for the given name of Lemuel's father. Lemuel wrote on May 23, 1879 "father died today". No other mention is made of his father during the 10 years he kept the journal. Does anyone have a list of the burials at Lafayette? I would be most appreciative if someone can check for any "Kelley/Kelly" who died in May 1879. Thanks for any help on this. Lyde

Mari, Actually I meant which Gates are looking for, names and dates, in Medina County. I have some info but don't know if it is who you seek. You gave us nothing to go on in the Medina zone. So Guess what, after looking at genealogy information that says he is still alive and then that, I'm not sure who is leading whom. :X
