I am looking for the birth records of Edward (10/12/1853 to 6/18/1923) & Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Newhouse) Betts (1859-1941). I know that they were born in OH, but I have not been able to discover where. They were married in Madison Co. on 10/11/1877. Any information about their parents/siblings would be helpful as well. I believe that Edward's father was named Henry (perhaps born in Maryland?). Edward may have been orphaned & raised by his aunt, Mahalia Nunamaker. Both Edward & Lizzie are buried in Putnam Co., OH). I have no other parent information for Lizzie. Anything would be a help!
