Obit is short - Alice, wife of Joseph Hann, died at her home in West Jefferson last night, of consumption, aged 24 years. The funeral services will be held Thursday. Joseph married 2 years later on July 29, 1901. At that time he was a barber, living in Columbus, was born in Madison Co. I did find an article in the paper that says - Married, at the home of Mr and Mrs J. H. Johnson, near West Jefferson Sept 1st Mr Joseph Hamm and Miss Allie Arhood. Showed his name with 2 m's. I didn't have much time today, I'll be at the library tomorrow and will have about 4 hours there so will check some more for you.
