Hi Andrea, I will go forward from John. Perhaps we will find a link. It is actually my husband who is the Whiteside . His mother was a Whiteside. I gave you all of John and Lucinda's children. Our Whiteside's continue from their youngest child Thomas Franklin who was called Frank. This would be my husband's great grandfather. Frank was born in Peru, Indiana Sept. 19, 1859. He married Mary Mario. He died in 1910 and is buried in Maple Grove Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas. Frank moved to Wichita sometime between 1895-1900. He and Mary had the following children: Ray Bud Whiteside b. April 27,1890, Peru, Indiana ( this is my husband's grandfather) m. Grace E. Nock April 27,1909, d. Sept. 6,1958. A dau b. Aug 15,1888 d. Aug 16, 1888, Pearl b. May 27,1886, Gerorge and Thomas twins b. July 21,1891, Pansy. Ray Bud & Grace had the following children: Carl Franklin and Georgia Isabell ( my husband's mother) b. July 28,1914. I suspect that my John's father was James, but have no proof of that yet.! I have been searching for many years. If and when I ever prove James to be John's father then I can go straight back just need that link. Let me know if anything works here...Bonnie
