Hi everyone. I may have found a lead on one of my ancestors and the question I have is does anyone what records I'd use to find a person's parents? My ancestor was born approx. 1842 and there are no birth records listed for that time. In 1850 my ancestor is living with the people I believe to be his grandparents, his parents aren't listed anywhere in the census. And if both his parents died in the 1840's, are there any records that might tell what they died from? Any ideas or suggestions would be great. Thanks. Jean Michigan
