My grandparents were Mose & Florence. I remember once ,when I was a small child, hearing a discussion about the cemetery "at the back of the place" and how somehow some of the tombstones were used to build the old homestead house and it's sidewalk which, at that time, stood between the "new" house (built abt. 1971) and the barns just south of it. I don't know what ever happened to those stones. The sidewalk between the house and barn was replaced with flat stone from the quary. But I clearly remember that some of them had birth dates prior to 1773 (Jonathan Alder's birth year).
