I just joined this list and would like to know if anyone is researching Charles M.and Elizabeth MARTIN MELVIN. It appears they were married in Clark County 23 Dec. 1830. I have found a daughter Cornelia Ann Robinson MELVIN b. abt. 1837 of Union Twp. Madison County. My gggrandmother was Mary E. MARTIN WHITE b. 1852 d/o E. B. MARTIN and Rachel VAIL. Mary Martin White's son was Jesse Melvin White b. 1876 in Clark, left approx. 1908 and does that name mean anything to anyone. Have more information to share about Mary E. Martin. It seems I am searching two Martin families. Edward W. Martin b. approx. 1888 had a daughter Sarah Elizabeth Martin b. 12 Dec. 1921 in Clark County and a son David Edward Martin b. 1924 in Columbus, Franklin County, d.1926 in Columbus b. in Jackson, O.
