Oh Queries Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Oh/Madison/687 Surname: Flint, Johnson ------------------------- Dear Ms. Hubbard - I am currently researching my family name "Flint", and in the process learned that my great great aunt "Louisa Flint" married an Obediah Johnson. My aunt was born in 1825 in Beekmantown, NY. About 1833-34 her family moved to Madison Co. Ohio (Canaan Township)where my great grandfather "John Flint" was born. From many letters that she wrote to my great grandfather, I know that she was first married to Obediah Johnson and they had one child, a boy named Henry Johnson. I will have to look through my letters again to see if I can determine Henry's birth date or age. I also know that later she married a man named George Marshall and moved from Madison Co. Ohio to Ill. I have not been able to find out if Obediah died, left or if they divorced. No mention is made of their situation. I do know that "Little Henry" was taken by Johnson relatives to Missouri for quite a long time and Louisa had no knowledge of him which made her quite anxious. Eventually they brought him back, but there is no indication that he lived with her. She had several other children by George Marshall. I hope this helps you.
