I am looking for information on Daniel H. McINTOSH born in Scotland about 1764. He was a carpenter. He had a wife Jane (McAULEY, McALLA) born in Pennsylvania. They were married in Lexington, Kentucky in 1807. In 1819, they moved to Madison, Ohio. They had sons: John born 1811 in Lexington, James H. born 1813 in Lexington, and Daniel, Jr born 1818 in Lexington. When they moved to Ohio, they had Rachel (possible middle name Elizabeth, or Elizabeth Rachel) born in 1826 and a son Lewis born in 1824. They left Ohio in 1836 to live in Pike Twp, Warren County, Indiana. I am looking for baptismal records for the two children born in Ohio, land records, or other confirmation that they may have been in the area. It is possible that they had other children who are not documented or who died. I know they had a son William in Lexington, KY born in 1808 and died in 1811. I don't know the religion or I would also try church records. Both Jane and Daniel died in Warren County, Indiana. Perhaps their son James or Daniel married in the area.
