They resided in Madison County in 1820-1830. John was born in Virginia about 1787. Mary/Polly Richards was born in KY about 1797. Possibly, Harrison County. She was the daughter of Arnold Richards and Susannah Bonn, who were married in Harrison County, license signed by Wm. Moore, Clerk 19 July 1796. It was witnessed by Henry B. Barton. Most of their children were born in Madison Co., OH. I believe this is the same John Lee, with 13 in family, living in Henry Co., Iowa in 1840. Among others, there is also a Richard Lee with 5 in family, living in Henry Co.. John Lee died about 1870 in Delaware Co., Iowa If any of this sounds familiar, please let me know.
