Searching for the parents and/or siblings of Henry NORTON, born 22 March 1837 in Madison County, Ohio. Henry's mother was Dorcus (?). The family moved to Missouri before 1855; moved again to Johnson County, Kansas before the 1859 territorial census; were still in Kansas for the 1860 Federal census; moved back to Missouri during the Civil War (1861-186?); were back in Johnson County, Kansas for the 1870 Federal census and stayed in Kansas until their deaths, I believe. Henry married twice. First, to M. (?); they had one son, Harvey W. NORTON. Second, to Artemeshia Jane BUTLER; their family was: Edward Henry NORTON, John W. NORTON, Mary Jane ELKINTON, Charles F. "Charley" NORTON, Lydia Matilda ELKINTON, Orlow G. NORTON, Luther NORTON, and Laura Belle TWOGOOD/TEAGOOD. Can anyone help us with this family?
