There are 2 printed county histories for Madison: 1) The History of Madison County by W. H. Beers and Co. dated 1883. It was reprinted in 1990 by the Madison County Historical Society. 2) History of Madison County Ohio, Its People, Industries and Institution by Chester E. Bryan dated 1915. This one was reprinted by the Historical Society in 1994. The second book provides this address for the society: Madison County Historical Society PO Box 124 London, Ohio 43140 If that doesn't work, the Madison County Public Library in London can probably give you a contact name and address.
