Benajmin and Mary BERRY GARRETT migrated to Madison County from Hampshire County, Virginia (now W. Virginia) thru Chillicothe, Ohio. They settled in Deer Creek Twp. before 1810. GARRETT, b. 1812 in Madison County, Ohio, m. Polly Mason BELL 1835 in Madison County, Ohio, d. 1894 in Dewitt Co., Illinois. 7. Jason GARRETT b. abt 1812, m. Hannah BURGENDINER 1836 in Madison County, d. After 1864 in Adams County, Ohio. 8. Manly GARRETT, m. Hannah SCOTT 1831 in Madison Co., Ohio 9. George W. GARRETT, m. Caty A. The Augustine TALBOTT family migrated from Bourbon Co., Kentucky to Madsion County in the late 1820's?? He and wife Drucilla PARKER TALBOTT had three sons: 1. John Mason TALBOTT, b. abt 1827 in Kentucky m. Louise ?, d. while living in Illinois. 2. Hugh A. TALBOTT b.1828 in Ohio (Madison County??), m. Julia O'BRYANT 1853 in Vermilion Co., Illinois, d. 1905 in Neosho County, Kansas. 3. Henry Edward TABLBOTT, b. 1831 in Madison County, Ohio, m. Lucy UTTERBACK 1867 in Vermilion Co., Illinois , d. 1910 in Vermilion Co., Illinois. Some of the CHANDLER orphans may have been born in Ohio and some in Vermont. They are listed living with various families in the 1850 Federal Census in Madison Co.,Ohio: 1. John W.
