Joseph had four brothers, James Heath born 1777 in Virginia, Zachariah Heath born 1775 or prior, but not earlier than 1766 probably in Virginia, Jonas Heath born between 1784 and 1766 probably in Virginia, and Israel Heath born about 1771 probably in Virginia. Joseph, and James definatly moved to MonroeTownship in Madison County, Ohio around 1814 – 1815. They are both listed in the Census, and the book "The History of Madison County". Jonas was still in Jefferson County, Virginia in 1820 according to Census Records, but is listed as setteling with his brothers in 1815 according to the book "The History of Madison County". Can't quite figure that one out. Zachariah is listed as living beside his brothers in Madison County on the 1820 Census, but not in the book. I haven't found any mention of Zachariah after the 1820 Census. Israel moved to Cabell County, Virginia between around 1809. Then later moved to Madison County. I have found his children living in Madison County during the 1840 Census, and Israel himself there during the 1850 Census. It's not alot to go on, but hopefully there are some source documents out there that could possibly shed some light on this. If you have any information on this family line please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
