    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Stout, Moore/Moor, Erwin, Clemons/Clemens Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GZB.2ACI/1001.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Pat, thanks for trying. I am sure she died in 1838, possibly a "backyard burial"-and since the family story is that she was killed, I am very interested. She was only 38, a daughter of William Moor or Moore, she married Jesse Stout in Highland Co. Ohio in 1821, probably in Fairfield Township. How close is that to Madison Co. and to Deer Creek? Their daughter, Lydia, my ancestress was born in 1834, and in 1839 Jesse married Rebecca Clemons, also of Madison Co. married there and in 1840 they came to Illinois. An older daughter, Sara, married William Erwin or Ervin in 1839, so these families would surely have all been buried in the same graveyard, don't you agree? anhy suggestions? Other than looking in Highland and way back then I cannot imagine them going to another township to bury her unless it was very close by. marjorie
