James Stout m.Elizabeth Garrett 3 Nov 1814; George Stout m. Polly Garrett 15 Sept 1823. there is a Garrett Cemetery in Madison County Deercreek twp. but no Stout burial. The Garretts were moved to Deercreek Cemetery in Layfayette Oh. There are also Ervins buried in Garrett Cemetery. The first burial in Deercreek Twp Cemetery was in 1838. So your Elizabeth could have been buried there.John Moore buried there in 1839 age 77yrs, Could he be related to Elizabeth? Iam finding no Stout burials in the area. Wonder if there was a Stout Cemtery or if they could have been moved to one of the larger cemeteries In the county. I will have to check those records at the library. The family cemteries were read and if someone didn't have a tombstone there would be no recordthat they were buried there. Highland County is south west of Madison about an hours drive away. hope this helps Pat
