    3. I found the following in some of my grandmothers papers and thought I would post it here in hopes it will help someone. Happy Hunting! Nancy Anna, beloved daughter of Joshua and Rachel LEWIS, was born Sept. 1,1867 in Gallia Co. Ohio, and died May 12, 1907, at the Protestant hospital, Columbus, Ohio, aged 39 years, 8 months, and 12 days. She was united in marriage to Joseph S. IRION, Dec.24,1885, and to this union six children were born: Zella, Edna, Rachel, Robert, Ralph, and Rollin, all of whom survive her and are left to mourn her loss, together with a loving husband, father, mother, three brothers and two sisters, and a host of relatives and friends. Our subject resided in Gallia Co. until March, 1984, when she moved with her family to Range township, Madison Co. She converted and united with the Christian church in Jan. 1880, in her fourteenth year. She retained her membership in this church until about six years ago, when she united by letter with the M. E. church at Concord. She lived a devoted Christian life, was a kind affectionate mother and wife, patient even in her last illness and our loss is her gain. Her last words were " all is well", " all is well". "Sleep soft, beloved we sometimes say, But have no gift to charm away Dull pain that through the eyelids creep; But never doleful sound shall slumber break, When He giveth his beloved sleep." Card of Thanks Permit us through the columns of your valuable paper to thank the friends and neighbors for the kindness shown us during the illness and at the time of the death of our wife and mother.
