    3. Mrs. Martha FOSTER CLARK, wife of James CLARK, and an old and highly esteemed resident of Oak Run township, died at their home last Sunday morning, aged 70 years. The deceased had been a victim of rheumatism for many years and was almost helpless. Recently she suffered an attack of gangrene of the left foot, which spread so rapidly that it became necessary two weeks ago to amputate the limb at the knee. The patient recovered from the operation and was doing well as could be expected fo one of her age, when septicaemia set in from a bed sore of the back. Death resulted in a few days thereafter. Mrs. CLARK was a sister of Daniel and T. C. FOSTER, and leaves a husband and five children all grown. The funeral services were held at the home at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, conducted by Rev. FISHER, of Columbus and SNIFF, of Derby. The body was placed at reat in the Bethel cemetery. Happy Hunting! Nancy
