I wanted you all to know that I have found the lost! Harvey Downey and Henrietta Badgley, after being married in Madison Co. in 1869 moved in with Ellen and Wm. McIntosh, and farmed, in Beavercreek Twp. Greene Co. Ellen Dorman Downey McIntosh, 62, was listed in the 1870 Ohio Census. As I looked at the microfilm was I surprised to find Harvey and Henrietta living there and listed as McIntosh! Of course I knew better. Then there was Henrietta's brother (? - need proof yet) Granville Badgley, whose obit gives his grave as in Mt. Zion cemetery but it isn't! He was only 13. And then there was another missing child Sarah Mason, age 15, who was also a descendant of the original John Downey. And then Wm. McIntosh, 72. I have had such a good day at the Greene Room at Greene County Library. Thank you for all your inquiries from Madison and Greene. Now, I must find where they went next. Linda Swaney Sabin
