If my memory is correct, the story is in a folder labeled "History of Fayette County," or maybe "Early settlers of Fayette County." I remember reading the story when I was there doing some research about 4 years ago. I was interested in the story because we have a family story that our Allen family came to Fayette County about 1820 by way of a wagon train from Delaware or Maryland. Our John Allen was born 1808 in Delaware, but I have never been able to find any information about his parents or siblings. One of the ladies at the Fayette County Archives (The old Armory building) told me about the folder kept in the Genealogy section of the library. Good luck, and happy hunting. Harold in Florida
