Email me direct, cramsey121@aol.com Please include all info you have about the party you seek. Including any possible relations. Who he married, where he went etc. Any little thing helps. There is only a handful of States who have the 1890 census, and among those only a few counties in each state survived, 1890 was destroyed in a fire. We would all love to have the info that was contained in the 1890 census. Right now I am buried in more than 12 inches of snow, and with the Holiday, I won't be able to do anything until next week. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Millikin Classification: Cemetery Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GZB.2ACI/903 Message Board Post: I saw you posted a note about the Millikin Family in Madison County, OH. The cemetery referred to in the History of Madison County, OH as being ".. and one still lower down the Darby, on James Millikin's farm" is was called the Patterson Cemetery in 1941 when the WPA inventoried veteran graves in Madison County, OH. There is a map of the cemetery in the Madison County courthouse in London. It shows a hog house located in the cemetery at that time. Little wonder only one tombstone was still standing when I visited in 1986. The surnames of the markers I found were Cary, Patterson, Sly and Strictland. In the Big Darby Cemetery you will find: Lot 21: John H. Millikiin: b. 17 Oct 1843; d. 1 Oct 1870 & John W. Millikin: b. 15 June 1869; d. 20 July 1870. Lot 43: Martha Millikan, wife of James Boyd: b. 7 May 1803; d. 1 Dec 1885. Lot 136: Cassius Byron Millikin: s/o John H. & Leonora A. Millikin; b. 4 Oct 1867; d. 26 Nov 1896; aged 29Y 1M 22D In the Finch Cemetery Infant Millikin: d/o James & Rachel Millikin; d. 24 Oct 1843 ____Millikin: s/o Jacob & S. Millikin; d. 19 Aug 1855; aged 10Y 6M 6D In the Foster Chapel Cemetery Andrew Millikin: s/o Dan'l & I. 3. Are you in Franklin County? If so, a trip to London, Ohio would be beneficial. You can go to the court house and check birth, death, and marriage records. The Gen. Society has tons of info. I'm from Florida, but come to Cincinnati at Christmas and in the summer. I always make a trip to London and usually find info I need. Check them out. >From: OHMADISO-D-request@rootsweb.com >Reply-To: OHMADISO-L@rootsweb.com >To: OHMADISO-D@rootsweb.com >Subject: OHMADISO-D Digest V04 #102 >Date: Thu, 16 Dec 2004 04:11:36 -0700 > >Content-Type: text/plain > >OHMADISO-D Digest Volume 04 : Issue 102 > >Today's Topics: > #1 Genealogy Libraries [jbrenna@columbus.rr.com] > #2 Re: Genealogy Libraries [uel3dar@earthlink.net] > #3 Re: [OHMadison] Re: Genealogy Libr ["Yolanda Campbell Lifter" ><ylifter] > #4 Re: [OHMadison] Genealogy Librarie ["Sherry Wilush" ><swilush@cfl.rr.co] > #5 Re: [OHMadison] Re: Genealogy Libr ["uel3dar" ><uel3dar@earthlink.net>] > >Administrivia: >To unsubscribe from OHMADISO-D, send a message to > > OHMADISO-D-request@rootsweb.com > >that contains in the body of the message the command > > unsubscribe > >and no other text.
