The only way it could be is through my great, great grandfather, Edward Flanagan II, born in Ireland in 1820. He died in Madison County - West Jefferson specifically. I know nothing of his siblings. My great grandmother (his daughter) was Mary A. Flanagan. There were 2 Mary A. Flanagan's in Madison County at the same time. Depends on which McLaughlin's you're referring to in Springfield, but yes, I am from there, along with 8 other siblings... I knew of some Donahue's...mostly my older siblings ages...lived on Olive St in Spfld. If you want more info on the Flanagan's, I'll be happy to forward along what I know. Regards, Tim

Union Twp, Madison Co is where London, OH is. It runs in an odd shape touching the top of Range and going west to the Clark Co line. Hope that helps. Willa [email protected]

    3. Hi everyone. I may have found a lead on one of my ancestors and the question I have is does anyone what records I'd use to find a person's parents? My ancestor was born approx. 1842 and there are no birth records listed for that time. In 1850 my ancestor is living with the people I believe to be his grandparents, his parents aren't listed anywhere in the census. And if both his parents died in the 1840's, are there any records that might tell what they died from? Any ideas or suggestions would be great. Thanks. Jean Michigan

    1. BAD INFORMATION PROVIDED
    2. Blair Leatherwood
    3. I had previously posted the fact that Family Tree Maker's CD450 has the 1883 History of Madison County on it. This was *incorrect*! Unfortunately, I was relying on memory and was in error. A check of the Family Tree Maker website will confirm this error. The CD does have histories of Fayette and Pickaway counties which may provide some useful information (along with a lot of other data), but it does not contain the 1883 Beers history. However, I *was* correct with respect to the Heritage Books CD ZHB11. That one most definitely has the history on it. 1. Name of church in book
    2. Hi everyone. Last week I was at the State Library (Michigan) and they had a copy of History of Madison Co. I found a reference to some relatives that I wrote out, since we were not allowed to xerox the pages and have somehow lost it. The information I copied was a small paragraph in the Jeffeson or Monroe Twps. chapters. It was about a church being built and my ancestors, Leonard THOMAS and Elizabeth TILLMAN had something to do with the church. If anyone has the book "History of Madison County" could you please look that reference up for me and tell me the name of the church? I would really appreciate it a lot. Thanks. Jean
