Would someone have the resources to search for the obituary of Michael Noon who resided in Plain City, and died 10/1901? I am interested in learning if an obituary appeared in an area paper. Also, I have been unable to locate a death certificate from Union or Madison. Where might death certificates be located for those areas? I do know you can contact the Ohio Historical Society if all else fails. Thanks. Charlene

Hello. I am brand new to this list. I am researching my husband's ancestors that were from Madison County, Ohio. Henry Johnson was born in 1814 in Madison County, Ohio. I don't know who his parents were. Henry Johnson married Rose Ann Clover in 1845 in Franklin County, Ohio. I am trying to find out more information on a book by Orville Russell. It is called History of Madison County. Does anyone on the list know of this book ? I am trying to find out if there is an index to this book. Is there any way to get a copy of this index ? Thank you for your help. I would appreciate any information on this book/index. Janis Foley [email protected]

I now have more than 9300 names of relatives in my Family Tree Maker, but have run into some dead ends in Madison County on the above named families a few generations back. Would really be grateful if anyone can bring me up to date on any of those names. Also, I will be happy to check any names that you have any questions about against my listing. My listing includes primarily the following names: White, Francis, Mulvany, Martindale, Gantz, Miller, Clark, Breckenridge, Brown, and quite a few others to a lesser degree. Most of these families were located in and around SW Franklin Co. to Madison Co. Dex [email protected]

Hi everyone! I'm so excited about this I had to share it with someone! I finally my William GRAY'S family. His parents were Catherine BLIZZARD-GRAY and James H. GRAY. His sisters were Elizabeth GRAY-WILLOUGHBY and Mary GRAY-HULL. I have been looking for William's family for years and my one mistake was that I overlooked his parents marriage somehow. Once I found them things seemed to start falling into place and today I was going through some deeds from Madison Co. when I found one that was for the sale of some land from the estate of Burton BLIZZARD. Elizabeth, Mary & William Gray were all listed as Catherine GRAY'S children. This has really made my day. Jean
