Oh Queries Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Oh/Madison/10831 Surname: ------------------------- I was glad to get your response, unfortunately, I don't have any additional information on Elihu and Emsa Heath's parents. I do have additional info on Elizabeth Gilliland's family. If you do find anything, please let me know. We do have a "family story" about a piece of woven fabric I have being carded, dyed, and woven by "Grandma Hardman". However, I haven't been able to find any "Hardman" in any of my research, so perhaps this was Elizabeth Heath's maiden name. If I find any information on this line, I will let you know. Thanks, felicia

Posted on: Madison Co. Oh Queries Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Oh/Madison/10824 Surname: Suver, Suverly ------------------------- Nancy, You mention that Sarah and Adam had four children. Within what time frame would they have been married - do you happen to know that? I am looking for the parents of John Andrew Suverly. John Andrew was born in Lafayette, Madison County on 15 June, 1828 and was married in London, Madison County on 19 June, 1849. I have found no record for John that lists his parents names - only that they were born inOhio (on the various census forms). Sarah and Adam are not names that they have named their chldren, however. I've found that is usually the habit and John was the father of 12 children. But anything is possible. I am in Washington State and I appreciate your offer to search the info at the Ohio History Society. Why not check your files as you mentioned, then perhaps offer me a suggestion as to where we should check next. I would be happy to reciprocate by doing any work you might have in the Northwest areas while at the Federal Archives at Sand Point. Thanks!

My Dad and I have been researching our family history in Madison county for the past few years. We just recently started our own website of various newspaper clippings from Madison county and some from bordering counties (with ties of Madison, of course!). It is searchable and most of the articles are from the 1860's through 1910's. So, please come and check it out. I would like to expand this site to more than just our newspaper clippings, so I would love to add any of your transcribed newspaper articles to the database. Let me know what you think of the site. Email me your thoughts and suggestions (and newspaper articles!)! here is the link: http://eileen_slattery.tripod.com/index.html Link: Madison County Newspaper Clippings URL: <http://eileen_slattery.tripod.com/index.html>
Does anyone know who to contact for information on this cemetery. It is located west of Lafayette, Ohio on Route 40. I know that there are several family members buried there with out headstones. Thanks, Cathy Clark Kennard
