_www.rrb.gov_ (http://www.rrb.gov) Someone had requested information regarding a relative that worked on the railroad I came across this posting and thought I would share it with this list hoping that I can get this information into the proper hands This posting is from another list: Happy Dance Time! Today I received information about my grandfather from the Railroad Retirement Board. They apologized for not having as much information as usual because my grandfather died before he retired. What I did get was my grandfather's employee history with occupation and salary, his original application for a Social Security card, my grandmother's baptismal certificate, and the dates of my grandmother's marriages. What a bargain for $27. The Social security information would have cost me almost that much alone. If you have someone who worked for the railroads this is a great resource. _www.rrb.gov/_ (http://www.rrb.gov/) Good luck, Lynn
