Does anyone know how to get a copy of an old probate record in Lorain County? I have found a few I would like to get by searching the probate website and it lists them as old case histories. I send an e-mail from that site asking for copies but several weeks later I have no reply. Any suggestions on how to obtain copies. And has any one seen an "old case histories" that can tell me what that means and what might be included? Thanks Leslie LaCount

Leslie, The Probate Court here in Lorain County does not honor requests. If you want to send me - off list - the names you are looking for, I will check them for you the next time I go to Probate Court - which will probably be this Wednesday.
