Following the discussion earlier about the best place to order certificates, can someone please advise me as to the best place to order birth certificates for individuals born between 1862 and 1895. Their place of residence in census data was Lorain County, Amherst Township, North Amherst City. I will also need to order a marriage certificate that should date from about 1882 or so. I was going to order from the Historical Society, but is there a better location that would have more information? Thank you in advance for responding to what one might consider a stupid question.
