I do remember the March 1998 query that you wisely posted on the Lorgen webpage.. Per the Women in the Western Reserve Before 1850, published 1896, Julia came to Rochester Twp in 1836 and her last know residence was in Oberlin OH. Julia's son, William Milton PHELPS died at age 85 years, 10 months, 29 days and was buried in Greenwood Cem. on Dec. 30, 1926. His wife, Mary KELSEY PHELPS is buried in the lot next to him. She died at age 72 years, 6 months, 28 days and was buried on Decc. 29, 1913. When you send for those obits, there should be some more clues for you to work with. Hope this fills in a couple of blanks spaces in a family group sheet for you and that you have gotten some other contacts these past four years of being so patient. -- Nancy M.
