Why don't that wedding take place here that was predicted some time ago? Harry PECK is again able to resume control of his old paper route. Miss Jennie RAMSDELL of Lorain is spending a few weeks with her sister. Happy sleigh rides have come to an end, but 4 weeks of sleighing once in 3 years ain't bad for this climate. The dance at the town hall on the 30th by the Ridgeville Social Club was a decided success. Musical talent from Cleveland helped to make it special. Joseph LEHMAN returned from a business trip to Germany & resumes his work in the mill. He had pleasant & peaceful weather for both voyages. Sick list: Mrs. L. EMMONS, Mrs. & Mrs. James HOSTLANDER, Mrs. G. AVERY, Mrs. DUNHAM, W.B.WORDIN, Gilbert FIELDS, James BEVERAGE, & S.C. BUTLER. Friends & neighbors of Miss Ethel BOURNE surprised her Thursday evening of last week. The recent streak of good sleighing was well improved by the tarmers, and MOORE's yard again is seen crowded with logs of all sizes. While all the crying "save the primeval forest" why not begin right here at home? We report the death of Herbert WORDIN, victim of the grippe. He was the only son of our Justice W.B. WORDIN. He resided many years in Elyria before his removal to Tenn. he was for many years baggage master on the Lake Shore road. Two years ago, he with his newly married wife, Miss Lizzie STOKES & family went to Tenn. to reside, hoping that the climate there would be more favorable to his health. They had come back six months ago due to the death of her mother. The funeral was Tuesday at the home. Rev.
